Deion Sanders is once again reacting to rumors about him leaving college football for the NFL.

Last week, college football analyst Reggie Bush said he believes Sanders is not going to stay in college very long and will leave for the NFL with his sons in the future.

During an interview with Bleacher Report, Bush said he believes Sanders is one of the best coaches in football and will leave for the NFL very soon.

“In my opinion, Deion Sanders is one of the best coaches in football right now. NFL, college, I don’t care, he’s one of the best coaches,”

“I have a feeling the NFL is going to come knocking on the door, and I think that’s his rightful place is in the NFL,” Bush said. “Once his sons are gone, because I think what he’s doing with his sons is history. When’s the last time we’ve seen a head coach and the son is the star quarterback of the team? The script is writing itself.”

On Tuesday, Sanders spoke with Dan Patrick and said he’s not “built for the NFL” because he believes money clouds “love and passion” for the game.

“No. Not once ever. I don’t think I’m built for the NFL,”I appreciate the game so much and I respect what the game has consistently done for me for a multitude of years. When I see a guy getting paid millions of dollars and he has no respect for the game, I’m going to have a true problem.

“I’m the type of coach to go out there with 53 [players] and come back after halftime with about 32. I’m too brutally honest and I want to win that much. I need everyone that respects the game. Often times, money clouds that judgement. It’s happening in college football. Money clouds that love and passion for the game.”

When asked about if he would leave when his sons get drafted in the NFL, Sanders didn’t give a definite answer but did say his sons plan to play in Colorado for another year.

“They’re going to come out [for the NFL Draft] at the same time—next year, “They’re not trying to leave daddy this year by the way.”

“I don’t know, I haven’t thought…I’m trying to win a game, I’m not thinking down the street that far’

“I haven’t thought like that, that’s a great thought process though”

We’ll have to wait and see if Sanders stays true to his word once his sons leave college next season.
