Deion Sanders’ time with Jackson State just officially came to an end over the weekend, but Colorado has already been a part of plenty of big news since their season came to an end.

They’ve had a few notable players enter the transfer portal and have already flipped the commitment of one running back recruit they’ll be hoping can fix a broken running game.

They’ve already been linked with another flip as a 5-star decided not to sign with Miami after meeting with Sanders and now it appears Coach Prime is trying to flip another promising prospect.

According to 247 Sports’ Brad Crawford, Deion Sanders is working hard to flip Vicari Swain, a 4-star athlete that is currently seen as a hard commit for the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Swain has shown himself to be a threat on both sides of the ball during his senior year of high school. On offense, he made 41 catches for 660 yards. On defense, he had 43 tackles, 6 interceptions, two fumble recoveries, and a forced fumble. He also added a couple of blocked kicks on special teams. He scored 10 total touchdowns this season.

We’ve seen Deion Sanders have some success with a player with this kind of versatility during his time at Jackson Stqte.

Travis Hunter was recruited as a top-tier cornerback in the class of 2022. In his one season playing for Deion Sanders, Hunter was also utilized very well on the offensive side of the ball. He made 18 catches this season for 190 yards and 4 touchdowns.

This one will be a real test of the “Prime Effect” as he tries to flip a dangerous two-way player that seemed to be locked in to committing to South Carolina.
