We now know why Shedeur Sanders left for the locker room early on Saturday.
Over the weekend, Shedeur was criticized when he left the Colorado Buffs’ game early while his team was getting blown out by Nebraska.

While speaking to the media on Tuesday, Coach Prime revealed that Shedeur was dealing with an injury and left the game early to get checked.
“It was a TV timeout. The doctors don’t want to take the players to the locker room when the play is going. Chidozie was ten steps ahead of Shedeur when they were going in to get checked by the doctors.”
According to Coach Prime, Shedeur got “dinged” during a targeting play, and he wanted him to be checked out.
🦬 @DeionSanders gives an injury report update.
Early reports on Shilo are not great. He was seen in a cast during the game. Thoughts are a broken forearm. We will see. Hardge had a foot injury. Nwankwo exited w/ an AC joint injury. Shedeur was tuned on the targeting. pic.twitter.com/U97KZoVLG9
