It seems like the Ezekiel Elliott contract holdout is going to go into the season and while most Cowboys fans have disapproved of Zeke’s methods to get a new contract he does have on former Cowboys star in his corner.

Last night, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones spoke to the media and said that he has accepted the fact that Zeke was going to miss games and that he wanted his star running back to honor his contract.

Today, former Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant, who has his own horror stories about negotiating with the team, defended Zeke after Jones’ comments.

As of now, it seems like the Cowboys are fine with making Elliott the second highest-paid running back the league which doesn’t seem to be enough for Zeke.
