Yet another bizarre interaction between Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel has been uncovered. Back in 2020, Russini conducted an interview with Vrabel in which they discussed his “Dad bod.”
FOIAball founder David Covucci — who broke the story of the hilariously terrible Spotify playlist that Dianna Russini seemingly shared with Mike Vrabel during a losing streak back in 2022 — did some more digging and unearthed an interview between the pair in 2020 about the then-Tennessee Titans head coach’s “Dad bod.”
A 2020 interview in which Dianna Russini asked then-Titans head coach Mike Vrabel about his “dad bod” has been unearthed
According to Covucci, “she conducted a whole interview with him that, on the eve of the Titans AFC Championship game, had absolutely nothing to do with football.”
A “dad bod” is a slang term for a male physique that is slightly overweight, soft, or average, rather than toned, lean, or muscular, and typically features a moderate amount of belly fat while maintaining some underlying muscle.
Just two months before Russini and Vrabel were spotted kissing in a New York City bar, she conducted a whole interview with him that, on the eve of the Titans’ AFC Championship game, had absolutely nothing to do with football. https://t.co/5njPkCP0nl pic.twitter.com/JHsyEcIBGC

The video, however, is no longer online as it was originally posted on Russini’s X/Twitter account, which she has since deleted. She’s also made her Instagram private and scrubbed her Spotify account.

Russini has not been heard from since April 14, when she announced her resignation from The Athletic. Vrabel, on the other hand, has made numerous public appearances over the last week, including at an event for New England Patriots season ticket holders in which he received a standing ovation.
Earlier this week, The Athletic‘s editorial head admitted to the staff that they initially mishandled the scandal and that the investigation into Russini’s conduct was ongoing.
