The Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel situation has gotten a whole lot messier. This week, additional photos of Russini and Vrabel from March 2020 were published — a full six years before the allegedly romantic relationship between the pair was exposed.

Just hours after it was reported that Mike Vrabel would be skipping the third day of the NFL Draft to attend counseling, additional photos of him and Dianna Russini canoodling at a bar back in 2020 were published.

Following the publication of these photos, NFL fans made the connection that Russini’s seemingly illicit relationship began before the birth of her first born son. Her son, Michael, was born in August 2021.

Dianna Russini’s old tweet about her son Michael and great NFL coaches and players resurfaces in wake of Mike Vrabel scandal

Making matters worse for Russini is an old tweet of hers in which she made a connection between the name Michael and the “best coaches and players in the NFL” to be named Michael. Russini sent the tweet when her son was just four days old.

“I’ve had some difficult conversations with people I care about about — with my family, the organization, the coaches, the players. Those have been positive and productive. In order to be successful on and off the field, you have to make good decisions. That includes me. That starts with me,” Vrabel told the media earlier this week.

Since her resignation from The Athletic earlier this month, Russini has yet to provide any additional statements about the ongoing and still developing scandal. As for Vrabel, he’s scheduled to speak to the media tonight if the Patriots make a pick in the first round of the NFL Draft.

If the Patriots trade out of the first round, Vrabel isn’t scheduled to face the media again until May 27.
