Seattle Seahawks’ star wide receiver DK Metcalf has shared details about his unconventional eating habits, which include consuming just one meal a day and indulging in copious amounts of candy.

The NFL player, who recently made headlines for his high-profile relationship with popular singer Normani, disclosed his peculiar diet during an interview with NBA legend Kevin Garnett on his Showtime program KG Certified.

When Garnett prompted Metcalf to discuss the significance of nutrition for athletes, the receiver’s response took an unexpected turn. “I’m probably the worst person to ask that,” Metcalf candidly admitted. “I’m a candy type of person. I eat one meal a day, drink one coffee, and eat like three full bags of candy.”

Garnett was visibly taken aback by the revelation. Seeking clarification, he inquired about the contents of these candy bags, to which Metcalf explained that he is particularly fond of gummy candies like Skittles gummies and Lifesaver Creations.

The bizarre nature of Metcalf’s diet left Garnett utterly bewildered, prompting him to ask for a detailed breakdown of the receiver’s daily meal plan.

While the diet might raise concerns among health professionals for its lack of balanced nutrition and reliance on sugary treats, Metcalf’s on-field performance speaks for itself.

Throughout his young NFL career across four seasons, Metcalf has proven himself as a top-tier wide receiver, amassing an impressive record of 306 catches for 4,218 yards and 35 touchdowns.
