Miami Dolphins fans wanted their team to show no mercy against the Broncos.

At the end of the game, the Dolphins, who had already scored 70 points vs. the Broncos, were in striking distance to break the NFL record for most points scored by a team in a game (72), but Mike McDaniel decided to kneel the ball on 4th down instead of kicking a field goal.

Dolphins fans in attendance booed McDaniel and the Dolphins for not trying to break the record.

After the game, McDaniels spoke about his decision not to kick the field goal to break the NFL record for points scored in a game.

“It felt like chasing points, chasing a record is not what we came here to do… 10 times out of 10 you concede and kneel down.”
