Gradey Dick stole the show at the NBA Draft as fans couldn’t stop talking about his draft day fit.
However, after he was selected by the Toronto Raptors, the top prospect couldn’t help but share his enthusiasm to play for this franchise.
One reason he looks forward to beginning his NBA career in Toronto is the well-known fact that Drake is a fan.
During his post-draft press conference, Gradey Dick revealed that he can’t wait to see Drake repping his jersey.
Reporter: "You hyped to become boys with Drake overnight? It's gonna happen."
Gradey Dick: "Of course. That's the goal. I need him to wear my jersey. That's my priority." 😂

Not long after, Dick shared he plans to wear No. 1 for the Raptors. So, will Drake buy his jersey?
Maybe he will. However, before doing that, Drake hit Gradey Dick with a vulgar joke on his Instagram about the Raptors new rookie. Here’s what he had to say.

Some fans enjoyed the joke. However, good number of NBA fans didn’t take it the way Drake was hoping for.
Whether they just didn’t think it was funny, or think it was a cringey statement from Drake, a ton of fans roasted the famous raptor for his Gradey Dick joke.

At the end of the day, the jokes are probably going to be nonstop.
That’s what happens when you have a last name like that these days. Maybe the joke would have landed better if it wasn’t Drake who said it.
Who knows? But one thing is for sure, Gradey Dick is on cloud nine right now no matter what.
