Anyone who grew up watching Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson calling people “jabronis” and “candy asses” in primetime probably isn’t too surprised to see how successful he’s gone on to be. The legendary professional wrestler has always had the uncanny ability to get a crowd on his side and keep them there— thanks in no small part to his impressive collection of inventive catchphrases.
It’s hard for me to pick a personal favorite, but when it comes to choosing the most iconic, there’s only one contender: “Can you smell what The Rock is cooking?” There’s no eight-word combination out there besides “Would you all like a bunch of money?” that manages to get thousands of people amped up almost instantly.
Johnson repeated variations of this catchphrase for years, but one Twitter user recently realized he’d gone his entire life without actually figuring out what he was supposed to be smelling. Thankfully, the wrestler was there to provide an answer for once and for all.

The dish is a pyramid of cream-filled pastry balls held together by caramel that is served at various celebrations in certain European countries. I can smell what The Rock is cooking, and it’s probably fucking delicious.
