A day after reporting that Dwyane Wade was taking offers from other teams, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst dropped another bomb when he reported today that Wade’s representatives have contacted the San Antonio Spurs about possibly joining their team.
Here’s what Brian Windhorst said while talking to 790 the Ticket Miami.
All I know is that in the last 48-72 hours Wade’s representatives has been calling a few teams to tell them that he was going to take offers.
I know San Antonio has been one of the teams that has been contacted, the Dallas Mavericks is one of the other teams that has been contacted.
Windhorst was skeptical about Wade leaving the Heat and thinks this just Wade trying to play hardball with the Heat for more money.
