Eli Manning Makes Fun Of Diehard Patriots Fan Mark Wahlberg For Ending Perfect Season

Maybe no athlete ever benefitted as much from one single game as former Giants quarterback Eli Manning benefitted from beating the 18-0 Patriots in Super Bowl XLII. And, he got to remind A-list actor and diehard Boston fan Mark Wahlberg of the historic upset during the Manningcast of the Chiefs-Eagles Monday Night Football game.

Wahlberg was on during the first quarter of the marquee contest between the Chiefs and the Eagles with Peyton And Eli, and Eli got his shot in.

I’m not sure any of us expected to find Eli so funny after his career. But, he’s been incredible on these Manningcasts, and in my opinion has outshone Peyton on these broadcasts the last few years. Peyton had much more media experience coming into these Manningcasts that started in 2021.

The reviews on Wahlberg’s appearance were less than ideal, however.

“Mark wahlberg doesn’t seem like he wants to be on the manningcast at all,” @itskocoon said.

“Mark Wahlberg looks like he has hated the Manning family for seven generations,” 2fast2nathan said.

He just looked completely disinterested in the appearance, which many actually have a lot of fun with. Oh well, his loss, just like the one Eli handed the Patriots fifteen years ago in the Super Bowl.
