Much to the delight of many Taylor Swift fans, we’re sure, Eminem returned to social media this week to talk about his Lions and their playoff run.
This time around he’s begging Detroit head coach Dan Campbell to let him play in Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
“Coach Dan … the offer still stands. I’m around for Sunday, lmk…” Shady wrote in the caption to his video on Instagram.
“Yo, Dan, I’m reporting. I’m going to report, third quarter,” Eminem says to Campbell. “I’m reporting, offensive line, eligible receiver. I’ll be the quarterback, the entire line, offensive line, and the receiver.
“And I will throw it to myself and score a touchdown. In the third quarter.
“Just give me a uniform. Or at least just like a helmet.
“I already have a helmet. It’s not the one for football. It’s just a helmet. But, umm…
“Yeah, man! I’m here, bro! I’m gonna be there. I’m gonna be there that night,” Eminem continued. “I will suit up, and I will score us the winning touchdown… in the third quarter… the winning touchdown. I’ll score.”
Earlier this week, following the Lions’ win over the Rams, Eminem shared another Lions-related video on Instagram in which he shared his new year’s resolution.
It was for the Lions to win the Super Bowl.
“So… what’s up?” he asked with a shrug.
Hey, they just won their first playoff game in over 30 years. He and the rest of the Detroit Lions fans out there have more than earned their moment in the sun.
I, for one, cannot wait to see how many Swifties, who have been Chiefs fans for all of a few weeks, get butt-hurt when Eminem appears on screen multiple times on Sunday and the crowd goes wild rapping another one of his many hits.
The same MAGATs who cry Taylor Swift (female) is ruining football (by simply being there and cheering) are strangely quiet about Eminem (male) being there and cheering! The crowd of 65,000 loved it, singing Eminem's "Lose Yourself" at the Rams/Lions game.pic.twitter.com/dfWeI312KH

Like I said before, there is only one correct way to settle this…

peacock / nbc / nfl composite
February 11, 2024. Chiefs. Lions. Las Vegas. Super Bowl LVIII. You only get one shot.
