ESPN Accidentally Aired Old Notre Dame Photo That Featured a Naked Man In The Background

A segment during today’s Notre Dame-Boston College game on ESPN today the network aired an old 1941 photo of Frank Leahy that featured a naked man standing the background.

ESPN apologized for the accident in a statement to Yahoo Sports.

An ESPN spokesperson confirmed to Yahoo Sports that the usage of the picture was accidental — in fairness, what’s behind the red dot isn’t the focal point of the picture — and the network apologized for its usage.
