Falcons Are Finally Making Overdue QB Changes And Fans Are Through The Roof

The Atlanta Falcons have had a roller coaster of a season. So much so, many have been clamoring for a quarterback change as Marcus Mariota clearly isn’t the answer.

Although the front office selected Desmond Ridder in the NFL Draft, they have yet to give him a shot. Well, it sounds like that change is coming.

According to Ian Rapoport, the Falcons are pulling the trigger and making a switch at quarterback. Ridder will take over the starting role while Mariota hits the bench. This is a long time coming, as this change probably could have been made several weeks ago.

Even so, Atlanta is in the thick of the playoff race as they’re only one game back in the NFC South. So it makes sense why the coaching staff finally feels it’s necessary to make a change. Maybe Desmond Ridder can provide the spark the Falcons need at quarterback to catch the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Either way, the fanbase is excited about the switch.

That Michael Jordan meme will never get old.

Kyle Pitts is out for the season but this is still hilarious. Perfect use of that GIF.
