Despite the fact that the NFL had to postpone the Steelers-Ravens game for six days due to over twenty Ravens players testing positive for Covid-19 the league doesn’t believe it needs a bubble during the playoffs.
On Wednesday afternoon, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell spoke to NBC’s Mike Tirico and told him the NFL wasn’t considering a bubble during the postseason because the league’s Covid-19 protocols “are working”.
Roger Goodell: "We don’t see the bubble as most refer to it in one location. We feel strongly our protocols are working. We’re willing to adjust and adapt those protocols, take additional steps. But I don’t see us doing the bubble in the sense that the media focuses on it."

Goodell: “We believe our protocols are working.”

Because Goodell said NFL protocols are working it’s guaranteed that a playoff team gets hit hard with Covid and basically have to play with a practice squad
