Fans are mocking Jay Bilas for his national championship pick following Arizona’s first-round exit. The college basketball analyst had the Wildcats going all the way in his most recent March Madness prediction.
Bilas actually chose UCONN as his champ on ESPN before quickly changing his choice to Arizona in an article written a couple of days later.
He doubled down on that Wildcats pick in a video on Twitter, taking Zona to take down Texas in his title contest. That bracket has now been busted with the ‘Cats losing to 15-seed Princeton on the tournament’s opening day.

Arizona became the latest No. 2 seed to lose in the first round, something that’s becoming more and more common in the Big Dance. Just last year, we saw another Wildcat national title contending team in Kentucky drop a game to Saint Peter’s.
Fans were quick to comment on Bilas’s now busted bracket. They weren’t going to let him live the pick down. Here’s what his followers were saying on social media.
Boy, that didn’t age well…

Apparently, it’s not the first time Jay Bilas has seen a Final Four team exit the tournament early.

While it’s certainly fun to pile on when an analyst gets one wrong, Bilas was far from the only person to have Arizona making a March Madness run.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Arizona fooled us all

The Wildcats let a lot of people down on Thursday. Jay Bilas is just taking the brunt of the heat.
