Welcome to Week 15! We have entered the semi-finals, and if you made it this far, congratulations.

We saw a lot of injuries, especially to important fantasy players; Mike Evans, Derrius Guice, Mark Andrews, Rashaad Penny, D.J. Chark, Greg Olsen… you get the idea.

You might need to find a streamer to get you to the championship, or there’s someone on your bench you might be unsure about starting, as usual, I’m here to help.

Here are my starts and sits for Week 15.

Quarterback Starts Of The Week

Derek Carr vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

If you watched the late-afternoon games last week, you saw the Raiders and Jaguars get demolished by their opponents. Hooray! We get to watch them play against each other now.

Derek Carr, from a fantasy perspective, had a good game and can keep that moment going this week. Carr is a much better quarterback at home, scoring at least 19 fantasy points in three of his last four home games.

Jameis Winston at Detroit Lions

So, interesting fun fact: Jameis Winston tied Aaron Rodgers in career interceptions while playing 109 fewer games.

Winston will somehow throw lots of interceptions, but end up with 400+ passing yards and multiple touchdowns.

Detroit cannot stop opposing quarterbacks this year, allowing over 20 fantasy points per game.

Other Quarterbacks To Start

Ryan Tannehill, Baker Mayfield, Gardner Minshew, Jared Goff, Jimmy Garoppolo

Quarterback Sleeper Of The Week

Eli Manning vs. Miami Dolphins

I think with the way everything has gone for Eli’s the last few years, you hope he can end his career with the Giants on a positive note.

He has a great opportunity this week against the Dolphins, who have allowed 20+ fantasy points to quarterbacks in three of the last four games. You add the fact the entire Giants’ receiving core could be on the field at the same time this year, Manning will have a lot of weapons against a below-average defense.

Quarterback Sits Of The Week

Kirk Cousins at Los Angeles Chargers

Cousins, from a fantasy perspective, did not have a good game in a favorable matchup against Detroit.

This week, he gets a much tougher road matchup against a Chargers defense that hasn’t only allowed one quarterback to throw for over 200 yards in their last five games and third-fewest air yards this season.

Mitchell Trubisky at Green Bay Packers

Trubisky has been lighting up lately with the most average points-per-game amongst quarterbacks over the last two weeks.

I’m reluctant to say he can keep that going. He gets a tough trip to Lambeau against a Packer defense allowing 12 points-per-game at home.

Other Quarterbacks To Sit

Jacoby Brissett, Sam Darnold, Matt Ryan, Andy Dalton, Philip Rivers

Quarterback Bust Of The Week

Josh Allen at Pittsburgh Steelers

Allen as a fantasy quarterback has been incredible. Last week though, he saw one of his toughest matchups and struggled.

He gets another difficult matchup on the road this week. The Steelers are allowing under 12 fantasy points to quarterbacks at home and were the only defense to keep Lamar Jackson from scoring over 20 points this year.

Wide Receivers Starts Of The Week

Robert Woods at Dallas Cowboys

The Rams have started to resurge offensively over the last couple of weeks. Woods has seen a benefit with back-to-back 20+ fantasy games.

He has a great opportunity to keep that going against a Cowboys defense that is trending down; they’ve allowed the most third-most fantasy points-per-touch to the wide receiver over the last four weeks.

A.J. Brown vs. Houston Texans

What can Brown do for you? Possibly win you a championship. As Tannehill emerges, Brown’s stock has risen.

Looks for the trend to continue as he takes on Houston’s secondary

Other Wide Receivers To Start

D.J. Moore, Deebo Samuel, Chris Conley, Mike Williams, Allen Hurns

Wide Receiver Sleeper Of The Week

Darius Slayton vs. Miami Dolphins

The Giants are garbage, but I like to be a glass-half-full guy, so I’ll say they may have found a new young talent in Darius Slayton.

Averaging 9.5 targets in his last four games, Eli observed Slayton’s talent, and when he came back as the starter, he got Slayton the ball.

He has a great matchup this week against the Dolphins that recently gave up big games to Jarvis Landry (148 yards 2 TDs), Alshon Jeffery (137 yards 1 TD), and Robby Anderson (116 yards 1 TD).

But the Giants are still trash.

Wide Receiver Sits Of The Week

Courtland Sutton at Kansas City Chiefs

Sutton is having a sophomore surge; he’s just 60 yards shy of 1,000 on the season.

I did not think he gets there this week; the Chiefs have not allowed a wide receiver to get to 60 receiving yards at home and are allowing the third-fewest points to the position.

Tyler Boyd vs. New England Patriots

Boyd’s fantasy value has gotten better with touchdowns in two of his last three games.

He has a bad matchup this week against a New England defense that plays tough against slot receivers, which is where Boyd runs most of his routes out of.

Other Wide Receivers To Sit

John Brown, Robby Anderson, James Washington, Larry Fitzgerald,

Wide Receiver Bust Of The Week

Tyler Lockett vs. Carolina Panthers

I know it’s tough to sit someone like Lockett and I wouldn’t blame you if you didn’t listen to me, he might be the best receiver on your roster.

Since Week 11, Lockett is WR98, averaging only 4.4 points-per-game. The Panthers have only allowed four total touchdowns to slot receivers. Seattle is a run-heavy offense going up against a bad run defense; game script may also hinder him. It’s hard to trust Lockett this week.

Running Backs Starts Of The Week

Phillip Lindsay at Kansas City Chiefs

I had Lindsay as a start last week, and with an even better matchup this week, I like him again.

The Chiefs are giving up the third-most points-per-game to running backs and the most yard from scrimmage.

Kareem Hunt at Arizona Cardinals

Hunt continues to be utilized and effective in this offense with double-digit fantasy points in four of his five games this year.

He’s a great flex-option as a dual-threat to run and catch.

Other Running Backs To Start

Chris Carson, James White, Austin Ekeler, Royce Freeman,

Running Back Sleeper Of The Week

Tevin Coleman vs. Atlanta Falcon

Why am I picking a guy who basically has become the third wheel lately?

Kyle Shanahan has no loyalty when it comes to running backs. Revenge game!

He’s a low floor high ceiling flex play this week.

Running Back Sits Of The Week

Devonta Freeman at San Fransisco 49ers

As I predicted, Freeman got his first rushing touchdown this season. As I type this with one hand because I’m patting myself on the back, he shouldn’t be in your lineup this week.

The 49ers are giving up the third-fewest fantasy points to running backs. Most importantly, Freeman has been used more in the passing game; San Fransisco has given up the second-fewest receiving yards to running backs and zero receiving touchdowns.

Kenyan Drake vs. Cleveland Browns

Just like the Arizona heat, Drake’s play has been dry. Since his break out Cardinals debut against San Francisco, he is averaging 42.5 rushing yards and does not have a touchdown in four games.

Cleveland has not allowed a top 15 rusher in seven games, and for some reason looks like David Johnson is trying to become a thing again.

Other Running Backs To Sit

Devin Singletary, Marlon Mack, Sony Michel, Bo Scarbrough, Carlos Hyde

Running Back Bust Of The Week

Ronald Jones and Peyton Barber at Detroit

The matchup is great; the Lions are giving up the second-most fantasy points-per-game to running backs. It’s just impossible to know who will be the lead back week-to-week.

I don’t trust either of them enough to tell you to start one of them; too risky in the playoffs.

Tight End Starts Of The Week

Ian Thomas vs. Seattle Seahawks

With Greg Olsen in concussion protocol, Thomas got the start and came through with one touchdown on 10 targets.

He’s a great streaming option against Seattle who is allowing the third-most fantasy points to tight ends.

Tyler Higbee at Dallas Cowboys

Higbee is the TE1 over the last two weeks since starting and replacing the injured Gerald Everett. Dallas has been struggling in the secondary lately, and this looks to be a high scoring game.

Other Tight Ends To Start

Jack Doyle, Dallas Goedert, Noah Fant, Mike Gesicki, Jacob Hollister

Tight End Sleeper Of The Week

David Njoku at Arizona Cardinals

Njoku came off of IR last week to a quiet game. He has the opportunity to explore against that horrific Arizona defense who are allowing the most points tight ends.

Tight End Sits Of The Week

Ryan Griffin at Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens defense is outstanding as of late, and they are number one against the tight end.

In a short week on the road, you can’t trust him.

Jonnu Smith at Houston Texans

His day was saved because of a touchdown last week, but he only has six total targets in his last three games. At this time of the year, you can’t afford to chase touchdowns.

Other Tight Ends To Sit

Jimmy Graham, Darren Fells, Vance McDonald, Dawson Knox

Tight End Bust Of The Week

Kyle Rudolph at Los Angeles Chargers

The month of November was so good to Kyle Rudolph, of course, it has to be Christmas time and no one letting Rudolph join in on any games.

He has a tough matchup against the Chargers, and with the return of Adam Thielen, he’s going to lose targets.
