Fat Perez Drains 'Better Than Most' Tiger Woods Putt

The 2025 Creator Classic took place yesterday at TPC Sawgrass a day ahead of the Players Championship. YouTube Golf’s biggest names were there including Grant Horvat who drained a birdie on 17 in a 3-way playoff against Soly Solomon and George Bryan IV to win it all, while Fat Perez from ‘Bob Does Sports’ finished in 5th at +4.

Firstly, I didn’t even know the Creator Classic was happening until I was flipping channels and saw ‘GOLF’ on my TV box’s guide and tuned to it. As someone who is (1) terminally online, (2) an avid golfer who is literally going on a cross-country trip to play 180 holes this month, and (3) someone in the creator space I’m amazed at how I didn’t know this was happening when the last time they held a Creator Classic news was EVERYWHERE. I didn’t see any promo at all this time.

But I digress… Fat Perez of ‘Bob Does Sports’ with Robby Berger who used to be on the BroBible team stole the show. Yeah, he might’ve only finished in 5th place at +4 but he drained the infamous ‘Better Than Most’ putt from Tiger Woods at the 2001 Players Championship. Breezy Golf, owned by Bob Does Sports, put together this side-by-side video of Fat Perez’s putt along side Tiger Woods:

Some are saying this is the single greatest moment in YouTube golf and I’d have to agree. It’s the biggest stage so far for YouTube golf and Fat Perez drained one of Tiger’s 2 most iconic putts, the other being at Augusta (you know the one).

That birdie on 17 was the only birddog on the scorecard for Fat Perez in the 2025 Creator Classic but he drained it when it counted the most. There was a HUGE crowd out at TPC Sawgrass to watch and he gave the people something to roar for. Incredible stuff.

All we need now is the ‘Bob Does Sports’ team to put together a ‘TPC Sawgrass Stadium Stories’ clip on Fat Perez’s putt like this one:
