No matter how old you are or what you think you have to do in order to be labeled an “adult,” one thing that every guy will always continue to do is play video games, reverting to those preadolescent days where sleepovers turned into an all-night gaming fest.
And one of the most anticipated video games each year is FIFA—and the first teaser was released for FIFA 17 today.
Granted, the trailer doesn’t give us much to work with visually, but isn’t that what a good hype video’s supposed to do? Tease us into wanting more? Of course if its. Plus, what is shown looks fucking realistic as shit, so put me on the waiting list to reserve my own copy.
One thing that stands out in the trailer is the introduction of FrostBite, which, according to the official release for the game, “was developed by the minds behind EA’s Battlefield series of games and aims to deliver ‘authentic, true-to-life action, takes players to new football worlds, and introduces fans to characters full of depth and emotion.'”
So, yeah, this game is going to be, arguably, the most realistic game of its kind.
FIFA 17 hits shelves September 29 in North America, so mark your calendars and get your skills ready, bros, because soccer fever is in the air for sure with the Copa America going on in the States right now.
