There is a LOT that goes into college football recruiting. Each individual school has a team of staffers who focus solely on getting the high school recruits to commit their talents to the football program and they work around the clock.

Hours upon hours are spent creating graphics, cutting mixtapes, printing copies, writing letters, licking envelopes and sending mail out to top targets. It’s not an insignificant number, either.

Take Alabama’s 2022 class for example. The Crimson Tide have offered 12 running backs, 34 wide receivers, 18 tight ends, 17 offensive tackles, 17 offensive linemen, 22 cornerbacks, 18 safeties, 8 athletes, 11 edge rushers, 20 linebackers, 30 defensive linemen and 12 quarterbacks.

That means that the recruiting department is sending out multiple contacts per week to all 219 prospects. That’s a lot of mail.

On the other side of the process, the recruits are receiving those letters and emails multiple times per week. For the top players in a certain class, the influx of contacts from schools is truly unbelievable.

Joenel Aguero is a five-star recruit in the class of 2023 from IMG Academy in Florida. His top offers include Alabama, Ohio State, LSU and Georgia, but he will have his pick of anywhere he wants to go to school.

He recently shared the insane amount of mail he gets per day on TikTok.

It will blow your mind:

Aguero claims that it is just one day’s worth of mail, but there’s no way, right? It can’t be that much in one day, right? It has to be at least a week, right?

Nevertheless, it’s a crazy amount of mail to receive in a month, let alone a day. Recruiting is no joke!
