A Florida Gators recruiting fail is making its way around social media. The disastrous photoshoot could’ve ended in terrible fashion as a four-star prospect took a massive tumble.

Caleb Odom, a talented tight end for the state of Georgia, was in Gainesville over the weekend as he makes his offseason recruiting trips. During his visit, he wound up in the photobooth where he tried on some UF gear and got a feel of what it’s like to don the Gators uniform.

That shoot went horribly wrong.

While jumping in the air on one of those snaps, he took what looked to be a painful fall. Wearing cleats to complete the entire Florida getup, he slid across the glass landing surface on his return to the ground.

Odom posted his fail in a Twitter post with the caption, “Jumpman not for me.”

Fans were quick to comment on the fall.

One person wrote, “This is a sign to not go to UF for sure.”

Another said, “This got me crying.”

This fan posted, “Cleats + glass aren’t a good combo.” That may be something that should be addressed in future shoots.

While the fail is going viral, the final product looked great, and Odom didn’t look half-bad in a Gators uniform.

Florida will have to beat out some top suitors to land his signature. Odom has offers from the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Miami, and Ole Miss.

Ranked as the fifth-best tight end in the class according to 24/7 Sports, he’ll be a huge “get” for whichever school he chooses. Hopefully he doesn’t hold this recruiting fail against the Gators.
