Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is chiming in on the Tiger Woods golf cart situation.
On Wednesday, Woods took a plea deal in court months after flipping over his SUV in Jupiter, Florida. As part of the deal, Woods agreed to have his license suspended for 5 years, and the judge in the case said warned him that he can’t drive at all or he would risk going back to jail.

Tiger Woods had his driver’s license suspended five years Wednesday after striking a plea deal in his DUI case.
Woods pleaded no contest to a reduced charge of reckless driving and refusal to submit to a lawful test in Martin County Circuit Court in Florida.
Judge Darren Steele told Woods that the suspended license “is for the safety of the public.”
“There are no exceptions,” Steele said. “If you were to drive for any reason at all, you would go immediately back to jail.”
After the plea deal, Thomas Bakkedahl, the State Attorney for Florida’s 19th Judicial Circuit, was asked if Woods would be able to drive a golf cart on a golf course.
“We’ll have to look into that, and I’ll get back to you,” Bakkedahl told reporters.

DeSantis chimed in and said he believes that Woods should be allowed to drive a golf cart on a golf course.
