Floyd Mayweather continues to tease an MMA fight with Conor McGregor despite shooting down rumors that he was interested in an UFC fight with the Irishman a few months ago. Today, the retired boxer posted a video of himself walking inside an MMA cage he set up inside his boxing gym.

McGregor was made aware of the Mayweather’s video and mocked the boxer with this hilarious tweet.

There has been some talk about about a potential rematch between Mayweather and McGregor much to the chagrin of UFC president Dana White who is eager to see McGregor return to an MMA cage some time soon.

I heard that Floyd Mayweather showed up last night at one of the nightclubs in Vegas with a Conor McGregor t-shirt on.

“I know these guys have been talking s**t, but I want Conor to start training again and come back and defend his title.”

White’s comments on a potential rematch between Mayweather and McGregor come a few weeks after he revealed ‘Mystic Mac’ is still irked by his unsuccessful boxing debut.

He did extremely well. But Conor was not happy with his performance. And obviously, Conor truly believed he was going to win that fight.

“I know deep down that he would do that fight again. But he needs to get back to MMA and defend his title.”

Mayweather and McGregor are going to continue to gauge interest in a fight because they made a shitload of money the first time around.
