The struggles continue for Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos.

Last night, they played their 3rd primetime game in just the first 6 weeks of the season and it was just as tough to watch as the rest of their primetime performances.

Their offense once again struggled, scoring only 3 points in the second half and those came on a drive where an interception set them up at the Chargers’ 30-yard line. The offense also only gained 4 first gowns in the entire 2nd half and overtime.

The poor performance led to another primetime loss, dropping them to 0-3 on the season in these games after a Los Angeles Chargers field goal gave them a 19-16 win.

The game was the 5th time in 6 games this season that the Denver Broncos offense failed to score more than 1 touchdown in a game.

As a result of the offense’s struggle to find the end zone, it seems their kicker is currently outscoring the rest of the team. Former NFL wide receiver Golden Tate, who played with Russell Wilson for 2 years in Seattle, trolled Wilson over this embarrassing stat.

Not only is Brandon McManus currently outscoring the Broncos’ offense for the season, but he has actually outscored them in 4 of 6 games this season. That includes last Thursday’s game against the Colts, where he was responsible for all 9 of their points, which was one of 4 games this year where he’s been called upon to kick 3 field goals.

It hasn’t been a good year for the “Let Russ Cook” movement, but those struggles for Russ have McManus on pace to score the most points and make the most field goals of his career.
