The Sixers just put a bow on an Eastern Conference win over the New York Knicks as they continue their push to the postseason. The trio of James Harden, Joel Embiid, and Tyrese Maxey all tallied 20-point games and division leading Philly is now 38-23 on the year.

While they pulled out the 15-point win, things didn’t get off to the best start. And one player in particular took the brunt of the heat from the hometown fans.

Sixer fans booed former first round pick Furkan Korkmaz after the guard got off to an absolutely horrid start. The poor performance helped New York go into the half with a seven-point lead.

Korkmaz didn’t land a spot in the starting lineup, but he did see time early as a rotation player. And it didn’t take long for the boo-birds to come out.

Fans at the game were obviously not happy, and followers on social media shared that same sentiment. They were quick to voice their opinions, too.

Fans Aren’t Happy With Furkan Korkmaz’s Performance

Many unhappy bystanders were quick to call out the guard as being maybe the worst rotation player in the NBA.

Others wanted to see Isaiah Joe get an opportunity.

Korkmaz’s final stat line consisted of five minutes played, an 0-for-2 night from the floor, no points, and a turnover. We’ll see if he continues to see action moving forward or if the Sixers go in a different direction.
