Game-Worn Johnny Manziel Jersey Expected to Bring in $100,000

SCP Auctions is hoping some crazy person will fork over $100,000 for a game-used Johnny Manziel jersey. Judging by the current landscape of sports fans and the doelike fascination with everything this guy does, they may very well get their wish.

In exchange for six figures, the winning bidder will get a maroon shirt Manziel wore while playing his way to the Heisman Trophy in 2012. Not sold yet? Hang on, it gets better.

Manziel also signed the shirt and put his stats from the season on there!

If you’re thinking $100K is an unprecedented amount of money for a used college football jersey, you couldn’t be more correct. The auction house says the current record for such merchandise is $27,000.

All this for a backup quarterback.

Look, in my possession I have a Brian Hoyer collegiate replica. Want to dress like a starter and not some benchwarmer? I’d part with it for $60.

Serious inquiries only.
