Gardner Minshew’s Mustache And Nuts-Covered Cleats Are The Most Gardner Minshew Cleats Of All-Time

After ceding the starting quarterback role back to high-priced free agent (bust) Nick Foles for a couple of weeks, everyone’s favorite “have you ever tried CBD gummies?” quarterback Gardner Minshew is now back in the spotlight, as the Jacksonville Jaguars announced earlier this week that Minshew will be the starter going forward.

An instant living legend and cult hero thanks to his porn star mustache and buccaneering style of play, Minshew has blown away expectations in his rookie season, as the sixth-round draft pick has thrown for 2,432 yards, 14 touchdowns, and five interceptions while completing 61.1% of his passes.

And while Minshew is obviously a talented quarterback with the potential to be a long-term starter, the reason that he’s become so instantly beloved is due to his eccentric personality.

Whether it be his famed jock strap stretches, his affinity for vanilla Crown Royal and jorts, or the time he smashed his own hand with a hammer (on purpose), NFL fans all across the country have taken an immediate liking to Minshew.

Now, with the former Washington State University product set to be the Jags’ starting QB once again, Minshew has given fans yet another reason to adore him: his absolutely ridiculous Movember/No Nut November cleats.

Minshew’s surprisingly awesome rookie season will continue this Sunday when he, his outrageous cleats, and the 4-8 Jacksonville Jaguars host the 4-8 Los Angeles Chargers. With just four games remaining in the 2019 NFL regular season, Minshew has as legitimate of a shot as you could ask for to prove that he’s the franchise quarterback we’re all hoping he’ll be.
