We have a new Laurel or Yanny, blue/gold dress situation on our hands.
Before overtime of Monday Night Football’s Seahawks-Niners game, Seahawks QB Geno Smith was asked to call heads or tails to see which team gets the ball.
Smith made the call and the referee believed that he called heads but many fans who watched the game live believed Smith called tails.

Pete Carroll found a secret overtime weapon: a backup quarterback who developed a country accent while playing in West Virginia that gives him an amorphous method of saying heads or tails guaranteeing success on the coin toss no matter what.
