The Georgia Bulldogs were dealt some devastating news this week after quarterback JT Daniels had to remove himself from practice and isolate. Daily testing is ongoing with increased attention on the players that JT Daniels was in close contact with but the timing of this is precarious for the Bulldogs.
JT Daniels began isolation on December 21st (Tuesday) and the Georgia Bulldogs Football Team face the Michigan Wolverines on December 31st. The NCAA requires a 10-day isolation period which JT Daniels would possibly fulfill but he’s missing those 10 crucial days of practice leading up to the College Football Playoffs Semifinals and it’s nearly unfathomable to think he’d get the nod to start that game now.
Bulldogs QB Stetson Bennett got the start in the SEC Championship game against Alabama. Georgia lost that game 41-24 and Stetson Bennett was 29-for-48 and threw 3 TDs and 2 interceptions. Those INTs led some Georgia fans to think that JT Daniels might get the start against Michigan.
Daniels has a completion % of 72.3% on the season and 7 TDs + 3 INTs. Georgia fans didn’t react well to the news that JT will likely miss the College Football Playoffs Semifinals.
Georgia Bulldogs React To JT Daniels news
BREAKING: Multiple sources have confirmed that JT Daniels has tested positive for Covid-19 and entered quarantine ahead of UGA’s CFP semifinal with Michigan… Other members of UGA’s QB room are in close contact protocol but have tested negative so far. Daily testing will ensue

Kirby was NEVER playing J.T. in this game or any other Ga. game as long as he's head coach.
Not that it matters because the Wolverines are going to make mincemeat out of our Dawgs.

If he can't practice, then he can't play.

Not like Kirby would play him anyway

Kirbys perfect excuse

Michigan was beating Georgia anyway. George will not rebound after the beat down from BAMA. Mmmmmichigan is a beast on defense and will dictate the game. Michigan wins going away to play ALA.

Oh….
I think the real issue with JT Daniels is that Kirby is scared to give him the majority of reps with the 1’s out of fear he can’t stay healthy.

And JT Daniels put the team on his back… somebody let Kirby know Stetson doesn’t have that ability https://t.co/faxfUdPeSN

In the 2018 Rose Bowl, UGA was down 31-17 at halftime. Our top 5 defense was shell shocked, but adjusted & only gave up 1 TD in the 2nd half while UGA put up 28 points. Fromm killed it going 20-29 for 210 & 2 TD 0 INT
But sure let’s give Stetson the benefit of the doubt.

Here’s a reminder of what the Georgia Bulldogs will be without against Michigan:
The Georgia Bulldogs are currently 7.5 point favorites over the Michigan Wolverines in the Orange Bowl. But if you were to only look at social media, you’d think the Wolverines were about to blow out the Bulldogs despite being nearly 8 point underdogs.
