Gervonta Davis and his hairstylist are beefing. Before Davis’ fight against Lamont Roach, celebrity hairstylist Leebthebrand showed off her work after braiding Davis’ hair.
Unfortunately, the product used to style Davis’ hair fell into his eyes while he was sweating during the fight, causing him to take a knee in the middle of the ninth round so that his corner could wipe his face.
Davis and Roach ended up being scored a majority draw, which led to the superstar boxer blaming the grease in his eyes for affecting his performance.

“They took the fight from me and made it a draw becuz I did that bullsh– knee..but I landed the most punches in the fight..he didn’t even hit me w a punch when I took the knee. I get it though, I shouldn’t have done that but that hair grease was burning my eyes!”

Leebthebrand reacted to Davis using the grease as an excuse for his poor performance.
The hairstylist claims to have cut Davis’ hair on Wednesday, not “two days before the fight,” as the boxer claims. She also denies using grease on his hair.
It appears that Davis and Roach are headed for a rematch. Hopefully, Davis doesn’t get his hair done days before the fight this time around.
