Harry Kane opened his World Cup with two goals against Croatia
Superstar forwards Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Erling Haaland put on a show at the World Cup on Monday, each scoring two goals a piece. If England striker Harry Kane is going to keep pace with them, he’s going to have to overcome a curse from a Ghanian witch doctor.
Nana Kwaku Bonsam, a Ghanian witch doctor who claims to have caused a Cristiano Ronaldo knee injury at the 2014 World Cup, has set his sights on Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane ahead of England’s matchup against Ghana on Tuesday. Kane is coming off a club season in which he scored a whopping 61 goals for German champions Bayern Munich.
Ghana is sitting on three points following their opening match victory over Panama, meaning a win will guarantee their spot in the knockout rounds, while a draw to put them on four points would also likely be enough to advance them to the round of 32.

“I am working on Harry Kane. I have shown what I am capable of before so I know what work I must do to stop him. I am very famous for my predictions,” Bonsam said, via The Daily Star. “I am not wishing him serious injury. It will be just enough to stop him against my country. I will do my work so that it can help Ghana.”
Kane led England with two goals in the Three Lions’ 4-2 win over Croatia in their opening group stage match. A win over Ghana will secure their place atop Group L and clinch their spot in the knockout rounds.
