Update:

Evan Neal has posted an apology on social media after attacking Giants fans.

Original Story:

Giants right tackle Evan Neal had some strong words for fans criticizing him after a tough night against the Seahawks on Monday, via NJ Advance Media’s Darryl Slater.

The 7th overall pick in the 2022 Draft didn’t have a good game, at one point he even went viral for blocking his own teammate instead of a defender.

The Giants suffered a 24-3 loss and allowed a staggering 11 sacks on offense.

Neal didn’t hold back when addressing the fans who criticized him, suggesting, “The person that’s commenting on my performance, what does he do? Flip hot dogs and hamburgers somewhere?”

He also took another swipe at Giants fans, labeling them as “fair weather” and “bandwagons” for booing the team during tough times. However, Neal acknowledged his need for improvement

Neal also added: “And how can you say you’re really a fan when we’re out there battling our a—- off — and the game wasn’t going well — but the best you can do is boo your home team? So how much of a fan are you, really?”

Neal’s comments attacking fans probably weren’t the best way to go..
