The Giants have enjoyed one of their best seasons in recent memory, making the playoffs with rookie head coach Brian Daboll and beating the higher record Vikings 31-24 in the Wildcard Round. Now, it’s time bring back their top players before they hit free-agency.
Daniel Jones Is Getting Top 10 QB Money
Giants quarterback Daniel Jones finally lived up to his potential in 2022. He cut down on his turnovers and led the offense with both his arm and his legs.
The problem is, the Giants declined his 5th year option last year and he’s now a pending free-agent. He could’ve still be locked in the team’s control through next season.
Instead the team will need to re-sign Jones before he has a chance to leave to a different team in free-agency and we now know which contract he’ll sign.
Jones is expected to get a $35 million a year contract, according to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan and that should place him around the top 10 highest paid quarterbacks in the league.

Saquon Barkley Is Cashing In
Giants running back Saquon Barkley previously turned down an offer worth more than $12 million a year during the team’s bye week.
The “belief” is that Barkley will sign $14 million a year with the team if the two sides can meet in the middle.
The new deal that will keep the former 2nd overall pick of the 2018 Draft with the team that drafted him.
In 5 seasons with the team, Barkley ran for 4,249 yards and caught 247 passes, scoring on 37 total touchdowns.
