The New York Giants are currently getting obliterated by the Philadelphia Eagles right now. So much so, they can’t even punt the ball right.
Nothing is going New York’s way whatsoever. Especially after Jamie Gillan delivered what might just be the worst punt attempt in NFL history.
Barstool Sports shows the clip of the horrendous play. It looks like the ball just slips right out of Gillan’s hands. The ball bounces on the ground then the Giants’ Punter kicks it down the field for just 10 yards. Even so, the play was called an illegal punt and it resulted in a turnover on downs.

After a hot start to the season, the Giants have lost a bit of steam. Additionally, it doesn’t help they’re taking on the red-hot Eagles. Either way, NFL fans can’t help but roast Jamie Gillan and his team for that terrible punt attempt.

Hey, at least the Giants got some revenge and blocked the Eagles’ punt. They’re not completely dead as they scored a touchdown before entering halftime. Even so, that first half was incredibly rough.
