Tristan Thompson simply cannot get out of his own way. This week he received a 25-game ban from the NBA for violating the league’s Substance Abuse Policy after testing positive for ibutamoren and SARM LGD-4033, two banned substances.
The ‘cheating’ jokes came swift and fast given Tristan Thompson‘s cheating past with regards to Khloe Kardashian, who he famously cheated on and got busted after fathering a child with another woman while he was with Khloe.
But former NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas took it one step further and publicly apologized to Khloe Kardashian on behalf of Tristan Thompson while ripping into the Tristan for his behavior. This scathing rebuke came at the end of the latest Gil’s Arena episode:
Gilbert Arenas started by saying “Dam, Khloe, I’m sorry, baby girl” before getting heated. He then went on to say “God damn! When it goes down to just the word cheating, it should be (Him) because he’s cheating on everybody. He’s cheating on everything that moves. God damn!”
Interestingly, they then go on to discuss how the NBA conducts drug tests on banned substances. They discuss how blood is drawn and the ‘coincidences’ between a player having a bust out game and suddenly getting called in for testing.
For what it’s worth, Tristan Thompson will be eligible to return to play on March 16th against Houston.
