Josh Jacobs claims that he was not pretending to be in handcuffs during his viral touchdown celebration. It was an ode to a gospel song.
One game after returning to the field from the commissioner’s exempt list, it appears that Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs could be headed right back on the shelf.
Jacobs sat out the first seven games of the season for Green Bay after an offseason arrest for battery and criminal damage to property involving his partner.
He then made even more headlines when, after scoring a touchdown, Jacobs appeared to mock the arrest. Though he claimed to have done no such thing.
The NFL had not yet suspended Jacobs over the incident and is currently conducting its own investigation. Now, it appears that Jacobs could face significant time out after three additional women came forward and accused him of abuse following his arrest.
Packers RB Josh Jacobs Facing Accusations Of Serial Abuse
Early Saturday morning, NBC 26 in Green Bay reported that multiple other women contacted police to detail their own allegations against Jacobs following his arrest in May

The woman alleged Jacobs slapped her across the face and later took her cellphone as she attempted to leave his residence. She added that Jacobs allegedly grabbed her by the hair, threw her onto a bed, pinned her down, and later threw her onto the floor, spit on her, and grabbed her by the throat.
Another woman claimed to have faced similar abuse in April of 2021. She told police that Jacobs grabbed her by the arms and bicep area, pushed her against a wall near a window. and threw her belongings outside the home.
Lastly, a third woman claimed that in May 2022, Jacobs placed his hands on her head and neck, dragged her, scratched her chest, and took possession of her cell phone after it fell to the floor.
Neither Jacobs, the Packers, nor the NFL have responded to the newest information.
