Tottenham Hotspur FC played their first preseason friendly match on Tuesday against inter-London rival West Ham during the two team’s preseason tune up in Australia.

West Ham got the better of Tottenham in a meaningless match, winning 3-2, despite Spurs absolutely peppering West Ham’s goal with 32 shots (13 on target) to West Ham’s 7 (4 on target).

Following the match day, Tottenham striker Harry Kane went golfing with his new teammate James Maddison who recently joined the club from Leicester City. They got the full Australian experience and witnessed two jacked kangaroos boxing on the golf course, something that anyone outside of Australia can’t fathom seeing during a normal round of golf.

As a Tottenham supporter, I absolutely love to see Harry Kane golfing after match day. He’s completely at ease and bonding with his new North London teammate, blocking out all of the senseless chatter about Bayern.

Bayern, by the way, are absolutely not in need of Harry Kane after winning their own first preseason friendly 27-0 on Tuesday against ninth-tier Rottach-Egern. With Kane in that squad they might’ve hung a hundred goals on Rottach-Egern.

That hasn’t stopped the insufferable Bayern trolls from flooding Harry Kane’s comments about coming to the German club. Others joked “The Kangaroos remind me of Levy and Bayern negotiating” and “the kangaroos remind me of levy and Hoeness fighting over Kane.”

One of the more sensible commenters wrote “He isn’t going anywhere.”

Meanwhile, Tottenham have their next preseason fixture against Maddison’s former club, Leicester City, on July 23rd at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. After that, they’ll face the Lion City Sailors in Singapore.
