According to Deadspin, Oman Oman plays basketball for Austin High School and during a game against Northfield High his team was losing 56-54. Rather than give up and admit defeat like most would do with less than two seconds left on the clock, Oman decided to lob the ball across the entire court in the hopes that it’d somehow make its way into the basket.
As you should be able to tell from the title, it worked.
After being uploaded only two days ago the above video has been viewed more than half a million times.
