Hockey goalie turned model Mikayla Demaiter has a simple demand in her latest viral photo.
For those that don’t know, Mikayla was a professional women’s hockey goalie until she suffered a devastating knee injury that derailed her career.
In an emotional Instagram post, Mikayla announced her retirement from hockey and began her career as a full-time model.
“Dear Hockey, It is time to say goodbye. It is time to turn the page and move to the next chapter of my life, for the first time you will not be my number one focus.
“I am excited for the future because everything you have taught me will allow me to succeed. There will still be early mornings, new adventures and new friends, and I hope that I embrace them with the same love and passion I did for you.”
Since then, Mikayla has garnered nearly 2 million Instagram followers and has traveled the world.
In her latest viral post, Mikayla suggested her bathing suit be put up in the Louvre.
