Hole-In-One At The British Open! HOLE-IN-ONE AT THE BRITISH OPEN!!!
— The Open (@TheOpen) July 18, 2015
Well done, good sir!
With St. Andrews being its notorious self moving into this weekend, heavy rains and high winds have delayed second round play to Saturday. While players have been doing their best to stay focused in the delayed downtime, you’ve got to imagine it’s your far from conventional tournament.
Alas, the spotty play didn’t affect Daniel Brooks (at least here on No. 11) as the Englishman took dead aim at the pin to drop the glorious hole-in-one on Saturday. Wow.
Final round play is now set to occur on Monday, with third round play getting underway at 8:15 AM (3:15AM EST). At the time of writing the European Tour vet sits at +5 through thirteen holes looking for a few more miracles with hopes of making the ever illusive 2015 British Open cut (projected to be E).
