This week, EA Sports confirmed that all 134 FBS teams have opted into College Football 25, the studio’s first college football game since NCAA Football 14.

In addition to the teams the game will feature, the voice cast for the game was also announced. You can find the full list of teams that will be featured in College Football 25 here.

College Football 25 will include the voices of Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Rece Davis, David Pollack, Kevin Connors, and Jesse Palmer. None of those voices, as you and Holly Rowe may have noticed, are women.

Rowe took to Twitter to call out EA Sports over its lack of diversity in its voicecast.

“How about including some women EA Sports 30 years on the college football sidelines,” Rowe tweeted, adding a shrugging emoji.

It is a bit odd that College Football 25 includes three of the main College Gameday broadcasters in Fowler, Herbstreit, and Howard, but not sideline reporter Jen Lada, who has been on the program since 2016, and Rowe, as she is the lead sideline reporter for ESPN’s coverage of Saturday night college football.

Rowe is one of the longest-tenure employees at ESPN as she has been with the company since 1995, covering men’s college football, the NBA and WNBA, women’s college softball, women’s college basketball, women’s college volleyball, women’s soccer, and more.

At this time, while College Football 25 does not have an official release date, the game is expected to release prior to the start of the college football season next fall.
