Here’s The Moment Hope Solo Finds Out She’s Been Suspended And LOSES IT: ’17 F***ing Years And It’s Over!’

As you may recall, Hope Solo was once again in the headlines for the wrong reasons, this time during the Olympics when she called the Swedish team “cowards” after they beat the USWNT.

That moment of poor sportsmanship was apparently the last straw for Team USA soccer as a couple of weeks later she was given a six-month suspension.

U.S. Soccer President Sunil Gulati said Solo’s comments were “unacceptable and do not meet the standard of conduct we require from our National Team players.”

That combined with her previous brushes with the law and overall attitude was apparently enough to drop the hammer on her.

In a video shot for the upcoming Fullscreen documentary Keeping Score we get to see Solo’s immediate reaction to her harsh suspension.

“Six month suspension, no pay, terminated contract effective immediately,” says Solo as she hugs her husband, former NFL tight end Jerramy Stevens. “Terminated contract. Not just a suspension.”

“17 fucking years and it’s over!” she shouts through tears.

Thus probably ends the USWMT career of one of the best goalkeepers in the world. Pretty sad way to go out.
