Houston Texans Walk-Off Win Clinched Insane $5.5 Million Parlay For One Bettor

The Houston Texans seem to have officially arrived, and that’s fantastic news for one bettor who cashed out in a big way.

The Texans, led by emerging superstar (and rookie) quarterback CJ Stroud, marched down the field in the waning moments.

Then a Matt Ammendola 38-yard field goal as time expired gave Houston a 30-27 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in Cincinnati.

It was the most impressive victory yet for the 5-4 Texans and a sure sign that first-year head coach DeMeco Ryans has created a force to be reckoned with.

But more importantly, the victory made a man in Florida very, very rich.

Well – very, very rich-er. But you get the point.

The Florida man won $5.5 million on a $500,000 four-leg NFL parlay with the Hard Rock sportsbook.

The four legs of the same-game parlay were:

• The Houston Texans to beat the Cincinnati Bengals

• The Texans-Bengals to go over 44.5 points

• Texans running back Devin Singletary to score a touchdown

• Singletary to go over 51.5 rushing yards

Singletary finished with 150 yards and a touchdown on 30 carries, while the over did not hit until a Joe Mixon touchdown with 3:18 left in the game,

At that point, the bettor was already in line to win. But after an interception from Stroud, Bengals kicker Evan McPherson tied the contest with 1:33 left to play.

But Stroud and the Texans didn’t waiver.

Instead, they marched 55 yards in six plays to set up Ammendola to win the game.

“Who else cooked us,” the Hard Rock betting account asked on Twitter with a picture of the winning bet.

The victory puts Houston just one game behind the Jacksonville Jaguars for the lead in the AFC South. Additionally, the Texans currently possess the final spot in the AFC playoffs by virtue of a tiebreaker over, you guessed it, the Cincinnati Bengals.
