After Tom Wilson[s vicious hit on Lubomir Visnosky in game 4 of the Caps-Islanders series it was no secret that the Islandesr were going to look to retaliate in Game 5.
The Islanders went at Wilson early starting a fight with him in the first period and ater in the 3rd period with the game out of reach for the Islanders Casey Cizikas went on to spear Wilson in the crotch.
Although there was no penalty called on the Ice, the NHL will definitely look into this and Cizikas might end up with a suspension.
