Israel Adesanya was recently praised for overcoming a major challenge and finally defeating Alex Pereira at UFC 287.
However, things turned south over the weekend after his ex-girlfriend supposedly filed a lawsuit against him. Now, the middleweight champion responds.
According to the Daily Loud, Adesanya’s ex-girlfriend is taking him to court for half of his wealth. The reason, “because they dated too long and she supported his career.”

That’s a wild thing to sue somebody over and really makes no sense whatsoever.
At first, this was seen as just a rumor. However, UFC star Sean O’Malley spoke about during an appearance on a podcast on the Suga YouTube channel, per Daily Loud.

It’s safe to say that Israel Adesanya is shutting down this lawsuit.
We’ll see what comes of it. If her only reason is that she feels she deserves something for supporting Adesanya before they broke up, then it’s hard to imagine she even has a case.
Especially considering they never got married or had children.
We’re just glad Israel Adesanya isn’t facing any serious allegations in this lawsuit. If that were the case, then this whole ordeal could be a completely different story.
