Jace Feely fueled an online narrative about Colorado football.
Former Colorado football player Jace Feely is fueling a narrative surrounding a “dysfunctional” program in Boulder. He reposted a rumor suggesting the staff is swindling team members out of NIL cash.
Furthermore, he suggests that it’s just the tip of the iceberg. There are skeletons in the Buffs‘ closet.
Feely’s response comes amid a tumultuous 2026 season with Colorado sitting a 2-5. They’ve lost five straight games, with four coming by double digits.
Is the Prime era coming to an end?
Colorado is “dysfunctional.”
That’s the word online football personality Moneyline Matt used to describe the current staff in Boulder. In a scathing review of the program, he alleged broken NIL promises.
In the coming weeks and months, you’re going to hear stories of the dysfunction coming out of Colorado football.
Players promised one dollar amount, only to arrive in Boulder and discover the money is nowhere to be found. This is a common theme. Meanwhile, the guys negotiating these deals are backpedaling faster than Coach Prime at a press conference.
Meet the architects of this clown show.
Reggie Calhoun Jr. — Director of Revenue Sharing & NIL.
A résumé featuring door-to-door sales, network marketing, and entrepreneurship. Now he’s helping oversee millions in player compensation. Oh, and his daddy just happens to be CU’s Director of Football Operations. How convenient.
Rodney “Pretty Tony” Forsett — Chief of Staff.
A longtime Deion buddy whose official CU biography doesn’t even bother listing his professional experience. Apparently, being part of the entourage is qualification enough.
Deion sold Boulder championship football. Instead, we got a traveling circus staffed by his buddies.
A football program or a con man’s convention?
This is what happens when loyalty replaces qualifications and accountability takes a backseat to kissing the boss’s ass.
Get this entire circus out of Boulder.

Matt called the program a “circus.” His critique was supported by a former player.

Jace, the son of former NFL specialist Jay Feely, reposted the tweet alongside an image of an iceberg. He suggests much still lies beneath the surface, but it will be uncovered in due time.
Feely played two seasons at Colorado after a transfer from Arizona State. He made four of his eight field goals with the Buffs, appearing in 15 games.
Feely saw some time as the team’s primary field goal kicker in 2023, but was used mostly as a kickoff specialist in his two years on campus. He was injured in his junior year, which would be the last of his college career.
Jay Feely was critical of the coaching staff in his son’s final season. “Colorado getting crushed on special teams. Not surprising,” he wrote on X during a loss to BYU. “That’s what happens when you don’t have a special teams coach and don’t make it a priority as a HC.”
Jace Feely left Colorado after that 2024 campaign. He’s since gone into content creation, highlighting his passions of kicking and golf. He’s worked with brands like TopGolf, 13 Under Golf, and SqairzGolf.
Some allege that Feely’s response is one of a scorned player denied playing time by his former coaching staff. Others believe he knows something that’s not being said.
He did not specifically reference any unpaid NIL checks or broken contract promises from his time in Boulder. His cryptic response provided no evidence of dysfunction.
It did, however, fuel the negative narrative. It’s his word against Colorado’s until further information comes to light.
