Jadeveon Clowney Liked A Girl’s Picture On Instagram While The Texans Lost

While the Houston Texas and Philadelphia Eagles were playing a hotly contested game, it looks like Jadeveon Clowney was catching up on Instagram.

Nick Wright of Sports Radio 610 in Houston pointed out the odd timing. Clowney, sidelined with a knee injury, has missed seven games this season. On the bright side, he did not miss this girl’s selfie.

Now, it’s very possible Clowney himself is not the one running the account. But if he does have an employee handing his social media, one would hope better timing would be employed.

The incident came just hours after NFL insider Ian Rappaport said the team has grown impatient with the No. 1 overall draft pick.

Rapoport said on NFL GameDay Morning on Sunday that the coaching staff is becoming “frustrated” with the rookie, who didn’t return from injury as early as they thought.

“What they want is for him to start showing some maturity and learn to play through these some of these ailments,” Rapoport said. “As a source just mentioned to me, this is really the first time Clowney has faced any sort of injury adversity — didn’t really happen in college — and they want him to try to play through it in the NFL, but they’re frustrated with their No. 1 overall pick.”

Personally I don’t think this is a huge deal. Clowney can’t exactly make a tackle from the sidelines and, more importantly, who wouldn’t like this photo? It’s very nice.

Then again I’m neither a Texans fan or a person paying him a boatload of money to be passionate about football.
