It feels like the NFL is dealing out suspensions left and right. Especially after six players were recently punished for violating the gambling policy.

Well, another suspension came in, only this time it has nothing to do with gambling.

However, the amount of games this player must serve has football fans calling out the league.

According to Adam Schefter, the Jacksonville Jaguars starting offensive tackle, Cam Robinson, is being suspended for four games after violating the PED policy.

If Robinson did use PEDs, then he deserves to be suspended. There aren’t many who will argue that.

Additionally, the NFL’s policy is a four game suspension for players who violate the PED policy for the first time.

But, fans aren’t sure the NFL has its priorities straight giving the Jaguars’ OT a lesser punishment than those facing suspensions for gambling on sports.

Especially considering the Tennessee Titans’ projected starting right tackle, Nicholas Petit-Frere, is being suspended six games after betting on a non-football sport in a team facility.

With that in mind, football fans call out the NFL for its decision on Cam Robinson’s suspension.

Make it make sense!

It feels like the NFL should reconsider the punishments for some of these violations.

It’s been a big offseason for the AFC South.

Thank goodness.

At the end of the day, the Jaguars veteran tackle will face a four-game suspension to start the 2023 NFL season.

It’s a bit of a blow for a team with high expectations. However, it’s not like Jacksonville doesn’t have depth at the position.

If anything, rookie Anton Harrison will be thrown into a starting role sooner than expected. So, it’s not the end of the world for this team.

But it also make sense why fans are confused with how the league dishes out these punishments. Maybe one day they’ll make some changes. But until then, these are the current rules.
