Jake Paul earned the seventh win of his boxing career after defeating Nate Diaz by unanimous decision on Saturday night.

Immediately after the bout, the two verbally agreed to fight again but in the octagon. So, we’ll see if that actually falls through or not.

However, Jake Paul turned heads during his post-fight press conference after someone asked him about possibly fighting Conor McGregor.

Considering a fight against McGregor would bring in pretty much all of the money, you’d think Paul would be all about it.

Instead, he completely shrugged off Conor McGregor and even claimed “he needs to go to rehab.” After that, Jake Paul listed what he wants next in his fighting career.

Here is his full response shared by MMA Fighting.

What’s that say when Jake Paul doesn’t even want to fight you? I mean, most fight fans are convinced Conor McGregor doesn’t want to fight anymore anyway.

But it’s pretty notable when a YouTuber turned boxer has no interest in one of the biggest superstars the MMA world has ever seen.

On the other hand, Jake Paul could be playing mind games with Conor McGregor. Showing disinterest could catch the former UFC champion’s attention.

Even if that is the case, McGregor has not shared any reactions yet. So, there’s a real chance he doesn’t care about fighting Paul either.

Besides, McGregor has bigger fish to fry. He still must clear the USADA testing pool and is supposed to take on Michael Chandler sometime in 2024.

With that said, both Jake Paul and Conor McGregor are going separate ways in the fight game. Maybe they’ll eventually clash together in a few years. But only time will tell.
